"Princess Elizabeth I" inspired Tudor gown. Media: Cotton, Silk. All items except some jewelry hand-made. Consists of: Gown, French Hood, Jewelry (Necklace, Girdle/Belt, Brooches), Underpinnings (Chemise, Farthingale/Hoop skirt, Corset, Petticoat).
This was the "mock up" version of my Seymour gown, but I decided that if I was going to spend a lot of time on it, it was going to be wearable!

Where did you put the opening? In the painting it's clear there's not center front opening and it doesn't appear to be a stomacher pinned over front lacing... I'm working on a gown from this and a few other similar paintings but am stuck on this point.
